FREE THERAPY
🌍 Sustaining Access to Healing in a Critical Moment
The Therapy Fund Foundation was created to eliminate barriers to healing within Black communities that have historically been excluded from care. Our work has always been rooted in ensuring access to culturally responsive mental health support especially when systems fail us.
Right now, we are at a critical turning point.
Across the country, Black-led organizations continue to be significantly underfunded, despite doing some of the most essential, community-centered work. At the same time, the need for mental health support is only growing, from racial trauma to economic instability, to the disproportionate impact of job loss and systemic inequities.
For us, this is not theoretical.
Our current grant funding ends this year. Without immediate investment, we will be forced to make difficult decisions that directly impact access to care in the communities we serve.
Therapy is essential—but it is still out of reach for many. Therapists of color are often underpaid by insurance systems while carrying high costs to sustain their practice. That leaves a gap—and we exist to close it.
Your support right now is not just a donation. It is access.
Your gift helps us:
- Provide free therapy sessions to those who otherwise could not afford care
- Sustain culturally responsive providers
- Sustain operations
- Continue mental health education, advocacy, and community healing spaces
💛 If you’re able, give today and be part of protecting this work.
Help us ensure that healing remains accessible, not optional.
